History Kim has had the passion for fashion since she was a child playing with Barbies®. She had a dream of opening a women's boutique since she was a teenager, which led to her obtaining a degree in fashion merchandising. The business is built upon her extensive experience in the retail industry, which includes nearly 20 years of experience in various positions from store manager to wearing multiple hats in the corporate office for a national retail chain. The Name The meaning of the name "Misguided Angels" is two-fold. Primarily, it as a tribute to Kim's days working for Victoria's Secret where she met her former business partner, Carol White. As managers for Victoria's Secret, Kim and Carol referred to themselves as the "Bad-a@$ Angels", a play on the name of the Victoria's Secret Angels™. "Misguided Angel" is also the name of the first song that Kim and her husband danced to at their wedding. Fashion Obsession Kim is excited to share her fashion obsession—especially her shoe obsession! Says Kim: "I think there is a little something that appeals to everyone. I am so excited, and hope to provide not just unique women's apparel, but a unique and fun shopping experience as well." |
